Day before Thanksgiving...
Well, Thanksgiving's already upon us and I can taste the family tension already. Thankfully, Christmas is just around the corner, and this year's plan involves hours of co-op Fallout 76 with the hubster.
Let's see...so in the last six months I've plowed through tens of games - the one I've enjoyed the most is either Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, or an Indie adventure called Unavowed. If you haven't heard of the latter, you're missing out. Ghosts, demons, mysteries, genies - if you need anything else n a game, you're a cake-sniffer.
As far as games I haven't enjoyed so much the last six months? How about a snooze-fest called The Walking Dead: Our World, and Z Day: Hearts of Heroes, another crappy, timer-filled, freemium war game.
Btw, what is WITH mobile gamers wanting auto-play modes in their games? Is it laziness? Is it players just admitting their game of choice is dull as dirt from the get-go? Clearly I'm old, because I don't like boring games, and I don't get anything out of games that play themselves.
Anyhoo, I've got to be better about updating my site. Other than gaming, the other reason I've been so remiss is that I'm bringing a book project to a close. After three long years, I'm just about ready to collect three hundred agent rejections - WHEE!
And on that note, Happy Thanksgiving to all - here's wishing you some great times and great games this holiday season!
