When it comes to criticism, I have three things going for me: an incurable video game obsession, six years of triple-A game development experience, and a decade spent reviewing hundreds of games for the industry's most recognizable video game outlets. I've traveled the world covering game-related press events, conferences and 'cons. When not furthering my reputation as a geeky Anthony Bourdain, I write game industry analysis, previews and humor pieces.

I love talking to people about games. I've interviewed artists, designers, writers, hardware makers and game legends. I've also been known to take the occasional awkward celebrity selfie.

Having worked in development allows me to view game WIPs as both a developer and a consumer. This dual perspective enables me to provide game companies with the kind of meaningful feedback they need to succeed. Want to find out if your game's on the right track? I'd be happy to help.

I've designed casual adventure games, creating concepts, writing dialog and devising puzzles. I've also doctored existing scripts and refined in-game dialog and text for games with ESL issues.
